Hey guys! My name is Krešo and I live in beautiful, traditional but modern city of Zagreb, Croatia. I’m a big food enthusiast, food dreamer, food lover, food traveler and someone who wants you to feel the same way when you try any of my recipes.
This is a place where you can find something for lunch, dinner, special occasion when friends or family are on the way to your house or just a snack.

It has been years, but I visited Croatia once. My husband and I were on a cruise. It stopped in Dubrovnik. We had a nice time. I see from Google Maps that Dubrovnik is about 8 hours from you. I also learned (from Google) that is the largest city and the capital of Croatia. Of course, YOU knew that, but I learned something new today!

You mean Zagreb? Zagreb is the largest and the capital, next is Split 😊 and Dubrovnik is not that far from Zagreb, it maybe takes 5 h by car and also it is really a nice city, with rich history, I have cousins living there!

Yes, my comment was not clear. Zagreb – is the capital. 🙂 The map I looked at had two routes one said 5 or 6 hours and another said 8 hours. That is about how long (5 or 6 hours) it takes us to drive to Disneyland. 🙂
We had a nice visit in Dubrovnik. It was beautiful.

Dubrovnik is nice, even more popular from year to year since they’re making popular TV shows and movies there – like at the moment they’re filmming Robin Hood in Dubrovnik, and everyone knows the scenes of Dubrovnik in Game of thrones series, but there are also beautiful cities all over Croatia 😁 Disneyland, what’s it like there?

I don’t watch Game of Thrones, so I didn’t know some was filmed there. Disneyland is fun. A LOT of people, long lines, expensive food, but still a lot of fun.
So I was playing a game the other day (7 little words) and one of the clues was people from Zagreb. I knew the answer because of your blog! I was thinking, “WOW! I would have never known that if I hadn’t just read Chef Kreso’s blog!” Wow! I laughed.

Dubrovnik, I remember! I ate a fabulous lunch at a restaurant/house tucked in the mountains and I will never forget the taste of their figs!
