Tuna steak & steamed vegetables

Three days ago I had to present my Final project for my Bachelor’s degree, and after three hours in front of the committee presenting my smart home security system and answering questions, I passed. Now I can officially say that I’m an Mechatronics engineer. Not only was I happy to have passed, I finally have more time to cook and try out new recipes, now with a degree, but an unmeasurable passion for cooking.

I have a few trips lined up in the next few months, I’ll also be visiting Budapest for Christmas, but still every morning that I wake up and sun is coming through the windows, my first thought goes out to the island of Vir and all the memorable moments I’ve experienced. The photos in this post are from when I went biking to the highest spot on the island, luckily it was a sunny day and the view was breathtaking.

The recipe to go with this view of the island and the beautiful sea is just the one that I’m sharing with you today – Tuna steak & steamed vegetables. The most traditional side dish next to grilled fish in Croatia is steamed vegetables, and I love it. You can cook any combination of green vegetables, season them with some salt, garlic and olive oil and enjoy fresh grilled fish next to the seaside.
