Breakfast salad 2.0

Using fresh ingredients when cooking is really important to me. I buy vegetables at the market from local vendors, fruit also. I know that fruit and vegetables I’m buying are fresh, healthy and delicious. Fruit and vegetables aren’t the only two from local vendors, cheese, eggs, dairy products, even bacon. For me that is one of the factors to keeping a healthy diet.

In one of the published posts I already gave you a tasty Breakfast salad recipe, this is another delicious recipe to start your day. I used Croatian goat cheese, crispy bacon, tomatoes, lettuce and onions topped with aceto balsamico and a bit of salt & pepper.

  • 50 g bacon, sliced
  • 1/4 onion, sliced
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 100 g lettuce
  • 100 g goat cheese, sliced
  • 1 tsp sesame
  • aceto balsamico
  • salt & pepper to taste


How to

  1. Wash & slice the lettuce.
  2. In a small nonstick pan fry the bacon until crispy.
  3. Season the lettuce, onion and tomato in a bowl with salt, pepper, sesame and aceto balsamico. Serve the salad with goat cheese and bacon.
