Chocolate rum cake roll

This cake roll is an amazing Christmas dessert. It’s pretty easy to make, you don’t have to bake it and you will love it, especially if you’re a sweet tooth.

  • 100 g sugar, powdered
  • 200 g walnuts, ground
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 tbsp rum
  • 100 g chocolate
  • 100 g butter, unsalted
  • 100 g sugar, powdered
  • 4 egg yolks, steamed and ground
  • 100 g hazelnuts, ground


How to

  1. In a large bowl mix together sugar, walnuts and an egg white. Melt the chocolate over steam and add walnuts. Add 2 tbsp of rum.
  2. In a second bowl mix together butter and sugar. Steam the egg yolks and ground them in a food processor. Add the egg yolks to the butter.
  3. Place the ground hazelnuts over a parchment paper. Roll the chocolate mass over hazelnuts and roll out the butter mass over the chocolate one. Roll the cake manually and leave it in a fridge over night.
