Peanut meatballs

These meatballs can be a great party appetizer or something you can make for yourself or your family served with hot grilled vegetables, or a lettuce and arugula salad. The recipe is simple and doesn’t take up much of your time.

Preparation: 15 min                                  Cook time: 20 min                                  Servings: 4


  • 450 g chicken, ground
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • 50 g peanuts, crushed
  • 50 g mozzarella, chopped
  • salt & pepper to taste


How to

  1. Preheat the oven to 190° C. Take a baking sheet and place the parchment paper over it.
  2. In a large bowl mix together the ingredients. From the meatball mixture form 4 cm balls and place them on the baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven for 30min until golden brown.
  3. Serve the meatballs with mashed potatoes, lettuce and grilled vegetables.
